Winning New Business and the 'Fit to Supply' process

This workshop will put micro-businesses in a better position to apply for local authority contracts. The session will teach about the procurement process and identifying tendering opportunities.
- The content of the workshop:
- The challenges and barriers of working with the public sector
- The requirements of successful tendering including Health and Safety and Environmental responsibilities.
- Explain what level of the supply chain small businesses should apply to.
- The tendering process.
- Different procurement processes used, including approved supplier lists and framework agreements.
- Signposts to extra help.
- Businesses must have a annual turnover of at least £100,000.
To be eligible, businesses must have:
- At least 3 employees.
- At least 2 years trading.
The business must be based in Camden or Islington. Spaces are limited so if you are a micro business, register your interest.
