Taylor Mediation focuses on equipping legal advisers and all levels of management to make effective and informed choices about conflict management, identify some of the root causes of organisational conflict and save a significant proportion of the £33 billion spent every year on conflict.
Their training team comprises of an experienced and vibrant group of mediators and trainers with backgrounds varying from law and HR through to telecommunications and includes CEDR and ADR Group trainers.
Workshops are generally bespoke according to client requirements and include:
- Mediation Awareness Training: designed for solicitors, HR managers and aimed at deepening their understanding of the mediation process and incorporating it effectively into their practice
- Mediation Training: designed for managers and directors within organisations aiming to address issues spanning customer care to workplace grievance
In any mediation, each party is in charge of the outcome and my practice is as flexible as individuals and corporations are different. Sometimes, both call for a mediator to drive through a hard and fast financial settlement, in which case Taylor Mediation uses techniques resulting in an agreed settlement in 3-4 hours. In other cases the parties need much more time and space to gain clarity about their predicament which, may be foggy, uncertain or unmanageable. In such cases, the process is longer, but nevertheless efficient in terms of cost and elapsed time.
